Perhaps you're down or anxious - maybe you're unsure about the future of a relationship, or just feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to lead. Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer support. I am here to assure you that I will meet you where you are in your journey of self discovery and growth. My goal is to help you "un-judge yourself". In other words, free your self from judgement so that you can find contentment within yourself. My passion is understanding the "why". Everything that makes you feel stuck has a “why” behind it and once you understand it, the solutions become clear and accessible.
Growing up in an environment where feelings were not well understood and independent thoughts were not valued was a challenge. After graduating with my master’s at CUNY, I went through my own journey of self discovery. Since then, I have worked with both adults and children. I have facilitated multiple types of therapy groups some of which include CBT groups, parenting groups, and self-esteem groups. I use an integrated approach and draw from both Cognitive behavioral techniques as well as relational therapy techniques to address symptoms of mood disorders.
